Teen arrested by HWP after break-in at St Marys unit complex

A teenager will face court today after being arrested by highway patrol officers following an alleged break in at a western Sydney unit block overnight.

An officer attached to Nepean Highway Patrol was patrolling the St Marys area last night (Tuesday 25 June 2019) and responded to reports of suspicious activity in East Lane.

As they neared a unit complex officers will allege they saw a person wheeling a bike towards the lane.

Police spoke with a 17-year-old male and arrested him.

He was charged with break, enter and steal, possess house breaking implements and breach of bail.

The teenager was refused bail and appeared at a children's court today (Wednesday 26 June 2019). There he was refused bail until his reappearance in children's court on Wednesday 3 July 2019.
