Teen charged after flick knife seized in Kellyville

A teenage boy has been charged after allegedly being found in possession of a knife at Kellyville overnight, NSW Police say.

Police from The Hills Local Area Command were called to a shopping centre on Wrights Road, Kellyville, about 6.30pm yesterday, following concerns about a vehicle seen in the area.

Officers stopped a car containing five youths; a search of the vehicle allegedly revealed cannabis.

Police will allege they also found a flick knife when a 17-year-old youth was searched.

He was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he was charged with

• Armed with intent

• Intimidation, intent to repeat indictable offence

• Supply prohibited drug

• Possess prohibited drug

• Possess prohibited weapon (knife)

• Goods in custody

• Possess ammunition without holding licence.

He was refused bail to appear in a children’s court today.
