A teenage boy has been charged following an alleged aggravated break and enter in Coffs Harbour yesterday.
Between midnight and 7am yesterday (Thursday 22 January 2026), a break and enter occurred at a home on Macauleys Headland Drive, Coffs Harbour.
During the incident, cash, electronics, two vehicles and a motorbike were allegedly stolen.
Police attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District were notified about 7am yesterday and commenced inquiries into the incident.
About 9.35am, police attended a home in Coffs Harbour where one of the vehicles was located.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the home and taken to Coffs Harbor Police Station.
There he was charged with breach of bail and six other offences,
- Aggravated break and enter with intent - knowing person there
- Take and drive conveyance without consent of owner (three counts)
- Goods suspected stolen in/on premises, and
- Possess housebreaking implements.
He was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Friday 23 January 2026), where he was formally refused bail to appear before a children's court on Friday 30 January 2026.
