A teen will face court today charged following an investigation into break-ins at four businesses in the state's northeast.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District commenced an investigation after reports were received that four Tamworth businesses had been broken-into between 3.45am and 5.45am on Wednesday 21 May 2025.
Following inquiries, officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District executed a search warrant at a home in Muswellbrook about 1.45pm yesterday (Thursday 22 May 2025), in relation to property offences allegedly committed in the Hunter Valley area.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where he was charged with four counts of break and enter intend to commit serious indictable offence.
He was refused bail to appear at a children's court today (Friday 23 May 2025).
Inquiries are continuing under Operation Soteria.
