A teenage boy has died after the motorcycle he was riding hit a tree in Walcha yesterday, NSW Police say.
Just before 5.15pm (Sunday 12 August 2018), emergency services were called to bushland adjacent to the Oxley Highway at Walcha, following reports a teenage boy had been injured while riding a motorcycle.
A 15-year-old boy was treated by paramedics, but despite their efforts, he died while being transported to hospital.
Officers from Oxley Police District attended and will now prepare a report for the Coroner.
