Teen facing child sex charges - Lindfield

A teen will face court today following multiple indecent acts involving children in Lindfield over the last two months.

A 17-year-old male was arrested by officers from North Shore Police Area Command yesterday (Monday 6 May 2019), following an incident on Beaconsfield Parade, Lindfield.

About 4:15pm (Monday 6 May 2019), it is alleged the teen performed a sexual act in front of a 15-year-old girl.

Police will allege the teen committed similar indecent acts in the same location on two previous occasions.

About 3:25pm on Thursday 2 May 2019 in front of a 13-year-old girl, and about 4:35pm on Tuesday 2 April 2019, in the presence of a 14-year old girl.

The teenager was taken to Chatswood Police Station where he was charged with three counts of intentionally do sexual acts with child older than 10 years and two counts stalk/intimidate fear physical.

He was refused bail and will face a Children's Court today (Tuesday 7 May 2019).
