Sommerville Highway Patrol are investigating after a male fell from the roof of a moving car in St Andrews this evening.
Officers were called to Paradise Drive about 6.50pm on 30 November to investigate the incident.
Investigators have been told five 18-year-old males were inside a Holden Cruze and two 18-year-old males were on top of the vehicle.
The car was travelling in a car park on Paradise Road at low speed when one of the males slid from the roof and hit the roadway.
He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
Emergency services were quickly on scene and spoke to all involved and the 18-year-old driver from Glen Waverley is currently assisting police with their enquires.
