Teen in critical condition after single-vehicle rollover near Manilla

A teenage girl has been taken to hospital in a critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in the state's north east at the weekend.

About 6.25pm on Saturday 19 March 2022, emergency services were called to Halls Creek Road – about 5kms east of Manilla – following reports a Suzuki Seirra had left the road and rolled.

The single occupant of the car – a 17-year-old teen – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before she was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, in a critical but stable condition.

Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information, or dashcam footage from the area, is urged to come forward.
