Teen Injured At Kilburn

Police are investigating a serious assault at Kilburn this evening.

Police and paramedics were called to a service station on Churchill Road, Kilburn just after 6pm on Monday 16 February by reports of an assault.

A 16-year-old boy from Munno Para West sustained lacerations during an altercation with a group of people at the service station.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police searched the area for the suspects, but they have not yet been located.

Crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene.

Police wish to reassure the community that this was not a random incident and the people involved are believed to be known to each other.
