Teen motorcyclist killed in collision in Sylvania

A motorcyclist has died following a collision involving his bike and a two-tonne truck at Sylvania this morning, NSW Police say.

A man, believed to be aged in late teens, riding the bike sustained multiple injuries in the collision on Port Hacking Road, about 5.40am tomorrow.

He was treated at the scene by police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital where he died.

The driver of the truck, believed to be his 50s, has been taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory tests.

Traffic in the area is being disrupted while the scene is examined.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
