Teenage girl, boy charged with drug supply at under 18 music festival

Police have charged two teenagers - a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy - with alleged drug supply at the Good Life/Lost City 2020 under 18 music festival in Sydney's west.

The high-visibility police operation, led by South West Metropolitan Region, was conducted at the Sydney Olympic Park music festival between 3.30m and 10pm last night (Saturday 22 February 2020).

More than 12,000 people attended the music festival.

During the operation, police also detected 14 teenagers with prohibited drugs and will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.

Those charged include:

  • A 14-year-old Mt Druitt girl was charged with supply indictable prohibited drug after she was allegedly found with 31 MDMA capsules. She was given conditional bail to appear at a children's court on (Wednesday 8 April 2020).
  • A 17-year-old boy from Wangi Wangi who was charged with supply indictable quantity of prohibited drug after he was allegedly located with 75 MDMA capsules, possess prohibited drugs, resist police and possess knife in a public place. He was given bail to appear at a children's court today (Sunday 23 February 2020).
  • A 15-year-old boy was charged with possess prohibited drug and breach of bail. He was bail refused to appear at Parramatta Local Court also today (Sunday 23 February 2020).

Officers also ejected 27 people from the premises for intoxication, drug-related matters and anti-social behaviour.
