A teenage boy has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Sydney's inner west.
About 10.45pm yesterday (Thursday 7 August 2025), emergency services were called to a park on Chapman Road, Annandale, following reports of an alleged assault.
Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command attended and found six men with a range of injuries.
Police were told the men were allegedly assaulted by a group of four unknown males following an argument.
All six men, believed to be in their early 20s, were treated the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
One of the men – aged 21 – suffered stab wounds. He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
Two other men were taken to the same hospital, while another two were taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
The sixth man did not require transportation to hospital.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested in Annandale about 12.15am today (Friday 8 August 2025). He was taken to Newtown Police Station.
Following inquiries, the boy has now been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and affray.
He was refused bail and will appear at a children's court tomorrow (Saturday 9 August 2025).
