Teenager charged over stabbing at Auburn

A teenager has been charged following a domestic-related stabbing in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 5.25pm (Sunday 31 March 2019), police were called to an address on Hargrave Road, Auburn, after reports of a stabbing.

Police will allege two male teenagers were driving along Hargrave Road, before the driver pulled the vehicle over and became involved in an argument with his passenger.

The 19-year-old driver sustained a minor stab wound and laceration and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The 17-year-old passenger was arrested at the scene and taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm (DV), use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence and affray.

He was refused bail and is due to appear before a Children's Court today (Monday 1 April 2019).
