Teenager dies following Cherry Gardens crash, SA

The road toll has risen following the death of a man involved in a crash at Cherry Gardens last week, according to SA Police.

Just before 5pm on Sunday 16 September, a white Toyota sedan travelling on Main Road left the road surface and collided with a tree.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Glengowrie and his passenger, a 19-year-old man from Aberfoyle Park, were both rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition.

The 19-year-old from Aberfoyle Park sadly died in hospital today.

Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The death brings the state’s road toll to 51 compared with 70 at the same time last year.
