Teenager dies in motorbike crash at Boggabilla

A teenager has died following a single-vehicle motorbike crash in the state's north yesterday.

About 5:45pm (Monday 1 February 2021), emergency services were called to Tucka Tucka Road, Boggabilla, after reports a motorcyclist had crashed into a road barrier.

A 15-year-old boy was treated at the scene by paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service before being taken to Goondiwindi Hospital; however, he died en route.

Officers attached to the New England Police District established a crime scene and the circumstances surrounding the crash is being investigated.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
