Teenager taken to hospital after reported assault - Beverly Hills

A man has been arrested after an alleged assault in Sydney's south last night.

About 10pm (Sunday 5 July 2020), emergency services were called to Edgbaston Street, Beverly Hills, to reports of an assault.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old boy suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to St George Hospital suffering facial injuries and a suspected fractured ankle.

Officers from St George Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the incident.

A 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Kogarah Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
