Teens arrested for Williams Landing armed robberies

Four teens have been arrested following an armed robbery and robbery in Williams Landing last month.

North West Metro Regional Crime Squad, with assistance from Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives, executed four simultaneous search warrants this morning, arresting the four boys.

Warrants were executed at 7.30am in:

• Kookaburra Avenue Werribee

• Broadbeach Circuit, Point Cook

• Solitude Crescent, Point Cook and

• Carisbrook Circuit, Truganina

The warrants follow a robbery which occurred on 20 April just after 9pm in Coleridge Circuit. The 18-year-old Wyndham Vale victim had his credit card stolen and sustained minor injuries.

The second incident, an armed robbery occurred the following day at a reserve about 10pm. The victim, a 17-year-old Truganina boy, sustained minor injuries and had his cash stolen.

A 15-year-old Werribee boy was charged with obtain property by deception and handle stolen goods. He was bailed to court at a later date.

A 15-year-old Point Cook boy was released pending enquiries.

A 16-year-old Point Cook boy and a 15-year-old Truganina boy continue to assist police with their enquiries.
