Raptor Squad officers have charged two teenagers after allegedly uncovering a "kill car" following a police pursuit through Sydney's south west.
Strike Force Subbard was established in March 2026 by State Crime Command's Raptor Squad under Taskforce Falcon, to investigate a series of public place shootings and arson offences in Panania, Colyton, St Johns Park and Guildford West, in the last month.
During the investigation, a number of stolen vehicles including a white Volkswagen, were identified as being involved in each of the incidents.
Following extensive inquiries, about 1.20am today (Thursday 16 April 2026) Raptor Squad officers observed a white Volkswagen travelling on Harold Street, Macquarie Fields.
The vehicle was directed to stop; however, when it failed to do so, a pursuit was initiated.
With assistance of PolAir, the vehicle was tracked to Helicia Road, Macquarie Fields, where the driver and the passenger left the scene on foot.
Following a short foot pursuit, two teenagers – aged 15 and 17 – were arrested and taken to Campbeltown Police Station.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle allegedly seizing knives, a sledgehammer, two jerry cans of fuel, gloves, cash, a mobile phone and stolen registration plates.
The 15-year-old boy was charged with drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, participate criminal group contribute criminal, armed with intent commit indictable offence and police pursuit - not stop - drive recklessly.

Both boys were refused bail to appear at a Children's court today (Thursday 16 April 2026).
