Teens charged following Brunswick West armed robbery

Police have charged four teenage boys following an alleged armed robbery in Brunswick West last night (1 February).

It's alleged the youths entered an Albion Street milk bar armed with a knife and baton about 7pm and demanded cigarettes.

Police arrested four boys in the area a short time later.

A 15-year-old Broadmeadows boy, 17-year-old Craigieburn boy, 17-year-old Westmeadows boy and 15-year-old Glenroy boy have each been charged with armed robbery.

The Broadmeadows boy was also charged with possess prohibited weapon.

All four will face a children's court at a later date.
