Teens Charged in 32 Mango Hill Property Crimes

Redcliffe Criminal Investigations Branch have charged two teenagers following the alleged theft of a vehicle in Mango Hill on 26 November.

It will be alleged around 4am two teenagers gained access to a Plummer Crescent address and stole a white Hyundai i30 hatchback.

Early yesterday morning, investigators arrested the pair in Helensvale.

They have subsequently been charged with a total of 32 offences.

A 14-year-old Redcliffe boy has been charged with 17 offences including five counts of enter dwelling and commit, three counts each of attempted enter dwelling with intent at night and unlawful use of a motor vehicle (UUMV) - use in night, two counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and one count each of UUMV, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, possession of a knife in a public place, and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence never held a licence.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with five counts of enter dwelling and commit, four counts of UUMV - use in the night, three counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent at night, two counts of attempted enter premises with intent to commit, and one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break.

Their bail was refused, and the pair are expected to appear before Southport Childrens Court today, 28 November.

Investigations are ongoing.
