Tell your story about arts and disability

Interested in arts and disability in Australia? We want to hear from you about what people and organisations need to support access and participation in the arts.

Last month, the Meeting of Cultural Ministers released a public discussion paper as the first step in renewing the Strategy. The National Arts and Disability Strategy started in 2009 and is focused on improving access to and participation in the arts sector by people with disability. Given the changes in both the arts and disability sectors over the last 10 years, it is now timely to renew the original strategy.

We encourage people with disability, carers of people with disability and organisations to share their views. You can:

  • complete our online survey,
  • make a written, video or audio submission, or
  • attend a face-to-face consultation.

To date, we have heard from over 200 people and organisations through the various consultation pathways.
