We have temporarily closed the Belmont Street jetty and a 30-metre section of the seawall at Swansea due to erosion at the site.
Studies are being undertaken to review the cause of this erosion activity in the natural marine environment and identify potential management options.
The nearest jetty is located next to Swansea RSL, approximately 260m away.
We apologies for any inconvenience but the closure will help us to ensure the safety of our community. We will keep the community update as further investigations are undertaken.
