Eastgardens Library will undergo a short, scheduled refresh later this month, with Rooms 6 and 7 temporarily closed from Tuesday 24 March to Thursday 26 March 2026 to allow essential works to take place.
During this brief period, some of our much-loved early literacy programs - including Storytime, Baby Rhymetime and Toddlertime - will be paused, and access to the children's collection within these rooms will be limited. We know how important these sessions are for local families and appreciate the community's patience while we carry out these improvements.
The works are part of Council's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, welcoming and high-quality library spaces for everyone to enjoy.
Normal programming and full access to the children's collection will resume as soon as the rooms reopen on Friday 27 March 2026.
We look forward to welcoming families back to an enhanced space very soon.
