Ten Sydney Players Slice Wednesday Lotto Windfall

A group of ten players from a western Sydney suburb of Marys are ringing in the New Year with a substantial windfall, sharing a $1 million prize from last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The lucky winners, who participated in a 10-person store syndicate, purchased their shares at St Marys Newsagency, located at 118 Queen Street, St Marys.

Their collective success was not limited to the division one prize; their marked System 11 entry also secured additional wins in divisions two to five. This accumulation of prizes brought the syndicate's total winnings to an impressive $1,030,706.30, with each member receiving $103,171.63.

However, not all syndicate members might be aware of their luck yet as they didn't know each other in the store-organised syndicate. Lottery officials are encouraging players to check their tickets, especially as some members of the winning group hold unregistered entries.

“Some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune knowing their bank account is about to be boosted with more than $100,000,” says Matt Hart, a spokesperson for The Lott.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those winners who are registered, there are still some unregistered syndicate members who may have yet to discover their good news.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate from St Marys Newsagency for last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw, today’s the day to check it! “

The winning numbers for the Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4351 on 27 December 2023 were 20, 30, 29, 15, 17, and 23, with supplementary numbers 21 and 31.
