This week is National Volunteer Week, an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across Australia.
It is a time to highlight the role of volunteers in our community and to say thank you to all Australians who volunteer.
The theme of this year's Volunteer Week is 'Making a world of difference' - which highlights the profound impact volunteers make in our community as well as to society as a whole. Through giving a little time, you all make a big difference.
Bayside City Council has over 400 active volunteers who collectively contribute contribute over 1500 hours per month to make Bayside a better place.
So this week we say thank you to all of Bayside's wonderful volunteers for your contribution of time, energy and passion. You are special and we appreciate all you do for this community.
