Theft from vehicle in Newtown

Geelong police are hoping to identify a man after cash was stolen from a car in Newtown last month.

Police have been told the victim was slowly driving along Chadwick Street on 30 October when a man tried to block the path of her vehicle about 9.20pm.

The victim took a photo of the man before stopping her car and running from the scene.

The man then stole a phone charger and cash from the car.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
