Thief uses stolen credit card in Brighton

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a thief who used a stolen credit card in Brighton this wee, Victoria Police sayk

It is believed a 2014 Toyota Hilux utility, registration AOU 027, was stolen from Bay Street in Brighton sometime between 6.30pm on 25 November and 5.30am on 26 November.

The victim’s credit card was in the vehicle and then used a short time later at a number of service stations and stores in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
