Third man charged re Brendon Farrell disappearance

Missing Persons Squad detectives have today charged a third man in relation to the suspicious disappearance and subsequent death of Doveton man Brendon Farrell.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a Doveton address this afternoon where they seized property and arrested two Doveton men.

A 49-year-old man has been charged with murder and was remanded to before Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

A 36-year-old man was charged with unrelated offences and was remanded to appear at court at a later date.

The arrests come two days after a 30-year-old Hampton Park man and 49-year-old Noble Park man were charged over the suspicious disappearance.

The Hampton Park man was charged with murder while the Noble Park man was charged with accessory to murder.
