Homicide Squad detectives have charged a third man following the fatal shooting of a man in Noble Park in July.
The third man, a 43-year-old from Springvale, was arrested this morning and subsequently charged with one count of murder this afternoon.
He has been remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 16 March, 2023..
Those previously charged in relation to this incident include:
• A 38-year-old Springvale man charged with murder on 28 November.
• A 25-year-old Blackburn North man charged with murder on 23 November.
The charges follow an incident on Monday 11 July when emergency services were called after reports a man had been shot at a unit on Corrigan Road about 6am.
A 36-year-old Noble Park North man died at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
