Third Person Charged As Murder Investigation Continues

Police have charged a third person as investigations continue into an alleged murder and wounding incident in Salamanca last month.

A 20-year-old man tragically died, and a 23-year-old man was injured in the alleged incident in the Morrison Street car park about 11.45pm on Saturday, 25 October.

Yesterday, the 14-year-old was charged with:

  • Attempted Wounding
  • Unlawfully Armed in a Public Place
  • Criminal Code Assault
  • Common Assault.

He is scheduled to appear in the Youth Justice Division of the Hobart Magistrates Court on 18 November 2025.

A 17-year-old boy has previously appeared in court charged with murder, wounding and assault in relation to the incident and a 20-year-old man will appear at a later date charged with assault.
