Third Teen Charged After Northbridge Brawl

A third teenage boy has been charged following a brawl at a park in Sydney's northern suburbs earlier this month.

About 7.30pm on Saturday 10 May 2025, officers from North Shore Police Area Command responded to reports of a brawl at an oval hosting a community event along Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge.

Officers were told a 17-year-old boy had been assaulted by a group of teenagers.

The 17-year-old was treated for facial injuries and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.

Following a foot pursuit, two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were arrested and charged and remain before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries, about 9.15am today (Wednesday 21 May 2025), a 17-year-old boy attended Chatswood Police Station where he was arrested and charged with common assault and affray.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Childrens Court on Tuesday 3 June 2025.

Investigations are continuing.
