Third Teen Charged With Murder After Craigieburn Death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a third teenager with murder in relation to the death of a 15-year-old boy in Craigieburn on Wednesday.

The Mickleham boy was located with stab wounds outside a medical centre on Lygon Drive about 7.50pm.

CPR was performed by a staff member from the nearby medical centre, but the teenager died at the scene.

A 14-year-old boy from the Hume area was arrested last night and has now been charged with murder and will appear before a children's court.

A 15-year-old boy, from the Craigieburn area and a 16-year-old boy from the Goulburn Valley area were charged yesterday with murder and will appear before a children's court.

A 20-year-old Beveridge man was charged with criminal damage by fire and bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 1 December.

A 15-year-old girl from the Fawkner area was charged with affray and theft of motor vehicle and bailed to appear in a children's court at a later date.

The investigation is continuing.
