Three people have been charged after an alleged hydroponic house was raided and 315cannabis plants were seized by police in Leumeah yesterday, NSW Police say.
About midday on Tuesday 23 May 2017, officers from Campbelltown Local Area Command drug unit were surveilling a home and a motor vehicle in Leumeah Road.
Officers attempted to find out if anyone was in the premises and knocked on the door, which was answered by a man who allegedly cried out to other occupants.
Investigators will allege they could smell cannabis and hear the noise of extraction fans.
A crime scene was declared and a search warrant was sought at Campbelltown Local Court. During the search, police will allege to have located 315 cannabis plants.
A 65-year-old man and two women, aged 41 and 39, were arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
All three people were charged with the production of the large commercial quantity of prohibited drug (enhanced indoor).
They were all refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow.
