Three Arrested Following Glen Huntly Aggravated Burglary

Police have arrested three youths following an aggravated burglary which occurred in Glen Huntly last week.

Investigators have been told offenders broke into a unit on Foster Avenue in the early morning of 7 October.

The offenders stole keys and accessed a Volkswagen Tiguan and drove it from the scene.

There were six people asleep in the property at the time and none were injured.

About 10.15pm on 10 October the Volkswagen was observed by members from Southern Alliance Youth Gang Team travelling along Cortula Road, Cranbourne.

Officers called in the Air Wing and the car was followed to Brunt Street, Cranbourne where three people exited the vehicle.

Police were quickly on the scene and arrested a 13-year-old boy from Ringwood, a 15-year-old boy from Cranbourne East and a 13-year-old boy from Doveton.

All three are currently assisting police with their enquires.
