Three arrested following stabbing, NSW

Three men are in custody after a stabbing and armed robbery at Condell Park, NSW Police say.

About 11.50pm (Sunday 24 December 2017), a 19-year-old man was robbed by three men with a knife on Ethel Street.

During the incident the man was robbed of cash and suffered a wound to hand.

Police were contacted and he was taken to Bankstown Hospital for treatment.

A short time later three males, all aged 18, were arrested by police on Third Avenue, Condell Park. These males are understood to be known to the victim.

They have been taken to Bankstown Police Station where they are assisting with inquiries.

A vehicle parked in Yanderra Street, Condell Park, is being forensically examined as part of the investigation.

Inquiries continue.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
