Three Arrested in Metro Break-in Spree

Three teens have been arrested by Youth and Street Gangs Task Force detectives following a series of thefts and break-ins across the metropolitan area.

On Thursday 7 May, a home at Grange was broken into and a BMW was stolen.

On Friday 15 May, a home at Port Noarlunga was entered and a blue Ford Escape was stolen.

On Saturday 16 May, a purse was stolen from a vehicle on Martins Road, Parafield Gardens, with a debit card later used at a nearby service station.

On Monday 18 May, two homes were broken into at Vale Park, on Fife Street and Almond Court.

A Volkswagen ute and an Audi sedan were stolen from the Almond Court address, with the VW ute later located on Loades Street, Salisbury.

Following investigations, detectives attended a Salisbury North address on Monday 18 May and arrested three teenagers from the southern suburbs.

A 19-year-old man from Christie Downs has been charged with illegal use, driving whilst disqualified, and breach of bail.

A second 19-year-old man from Christie Downs has been charged with two counts of illegal use, serious criminal trespass, two counts of illegal interference, five counts of theft, and unlawfully on premises.

A 19-year-old man from Port Noarlunga has been charged with breach of bail and outstanding warrants.

All three were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 19 May.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a Ford Escape, SA registration S004BUC, and an Audi sedan, SA registration DBG70X.

Investigations are ongoing.
