Three car crash in Richmond

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a three car crash at Richmond today, NSW Police say.

Just before 5pm today, emergency services were called to reports of a crash on Londonderry Road, near Cameron Street.

On arrival, officers found a crash involving three cars travelling south on Londonderry Road.

Initial investigations suggest a Toyota Tarago crashed into the rear of a Holden Commodore and a Toyota Corolla.

A 32-year-old woman driving the Tarago and six children in the car, were assessed at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

Three children were taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead with minor injuries, while the woman was taken to Nepean Hospital with back injuries and mandatory blood and alcohol testing.

All are believed to be in a stable condition.

The other drivers involved were assessed at the scene by paramedics but were not seriously injured.

Officers from Hawkesbury Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and inquiries are ongoing.
