Three charged over graffiti in Liverpool

Three men will appear in court today after being charged with graffiti offences at Liverpool yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 10.30pm on Sunday 18 March 2018, three men entered the rail corridor at Liverpool with numerous spray cans.

It is believed that the trio went to a train in a holding yard near Riverpark Drive and allegedly spray painted a carriage for more than ten minutes.

The group left the rail corridor on foot, travelling down Riverpark Drive.

About 10.45pm police from Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to Liverpool Railway Station in regard to reports of three masked males, wearing dark clothes, spraying graffiti on stationary trains.

During a search of the area the officers located a red Toyota Camry in Shepard Street and stopped behind it.

The officers observed the three occupants were all wearing black clothing and conducted a search of the vehicle with numerous spray cans and cameras located.

The items were seized for further forensic analysis.

The three men, aged 23, 25 and 38-years-old were conveyed to Liverpool Police Station and charged with possess graffiti implement with intent and destroy or damage property.

They were all refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Monday 19 March 2018).
