Three die in crash in Boggabilla

Police are investigating after a fatal crash in the State’s far north this morning, NSW Police say.

Shortly after 6am today, emergency services were called to the Newell Highway, Boggabilla, following reports of a crash.

Initial investigations suggest a fuel-tanker, a pantek truck with a trailer, and a car crashed.

Two occupants of the car, believed to be women, died at the scene.

The driver of the pantek, a man, also died at the scene.

All three are yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the fuel tanker, a man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Goondiwindi Hospital.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
