Three face court on drug supply charges at Blacktown

Two men and a woman will face court today charged numerous drug supply matters following an investigation by police in Sydney's west.

Strike Force Aures, which comprises a team of detectives from Blacktown Police Area Command, was formed in June 2020 to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs throughout the Blacktown and Greater Sydney area.

Following a lengthy investigation, officers arrested a 39-year-old Bossley Park man around 1.30pm yesterday (Thursday 12 November 2020) following a vehicle stop on the Prospect Highway, Prospect.

The man was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with 17 offences relating to drug supply, and participate in a criminal group.

Around 3.30pm, detectives arrested a 41-year-old Blacktown man on Kildare Road, Blacktown. He was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with 134 offences relating to drug supply, supply unregistered firearm – pistol, acquire firearm subject to Prohibition Order, and direct criminal group.

Around 5.30pm, Strike Force detectives arrested a 28-year-old Blacktown woman on Hannah Street, Beecroft. She was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with 33 offences relating to drug supply, and participate in a criminal group.

All three were refused bail and appeared before Blacktown Local Court later today (Friday 13 November 2020), where they were again refused bail to re-appear in Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 28 January 2021.
