Three people are under police guard in hospital tonight following an alleged stabbing on the state's Central Coast.
About 1.55pm today (Monday 11 August 2025), emergency services were called to Gossimer Close, Killarney Vale, following reports of an altercation between three people.
At the scene, officers located two women – aged 23 and 33 – and a 20-year-old man suffering various injuries.
The younger women was airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
The older woman was taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics to the same hospital in a serious condition.
The man was arrested and taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition, where he remains under police guard.
A crime scene was established by police attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District, with inquiries into the incident underway.
All three are believed to be known to each other.
