Three in court after M1 pursuit in Erina

Three men, all aged in their 20s, are facing court after a pursuit north of Sydney yesterday afternoo, NSW Police sayn

The pursuit with the stolen Toyota Prado commenced at Somersby around 3pm today.

The vehicle travelled on the wrong side of the M1 (Pacific Highway), with police terminating the pursuit. Assistance was provided by PolAir.

The offenders dumped the vehicle at an Erina shopping centre and fled on foot.

They were subsequently arrested by police and taken to Gosford Police Station.

A 26 year-old man was charged with 20 offences including revocation of parole, police pursuit (Skye’s Law), drive manner dangerous, driving while disqualified and take and drive conveyance, He was refused bail and will appear in Wyong Local Court later tomorrow

Two men, aged 23 and 26, were each charged with being carried in a conveyance and resisting arrest. The 23 year-old will appear in Wyong Local Court later today. The 26 year-old was granted conditional bail and will appear in Gosford Local Court on 8 August 2017.
