Three injured after home invasion in Maroubra

Inquiries are continuing after three people were injured after two males forced their way into a home at Maroubra today tomorrow., NSW Police say

About 2.40am, police were called to an address in Morris Place after reports of a disturbance.

Police attended and spoke to the occupants, who stated they were threatened by the males who forced entry to the home.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, suffered minor injuries and were taken hospital. A 46-year-old man, who left the scene prior to emergency services arriving, was found in a nearby yard after residents raised the alarm.

After assessment by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, the 46-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to a suspected dislocated shoulder and facial injuries.

Three other people, who were in the house at the time, were assessed on site by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. They did not require further medical treatment.

A crime scene was established and inquiries are continuing.
