Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are currently on scene following a fatal crash in Parkville this morning.
Investigators have been told a Ford Territory was travelling southbound on Flemington Road when it hit a curb and crashed into a pole shortly before 10am.
Sadly the female driver, a 35 year-old Cheltenham woman and her two passengers, an 8-year-old girl and a 20-month old boy died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined however police have ruled out it being a terrorism incident.
