Three men charged over kidnapping at Andrews Farm, SA

Three men will appear in court on Monday charged with kidnapping a person known to them and other offences following a police investigation, according to SA Police.

Just after 9pm on Tuesday 25 October 2016 four men armed with a baseball bat and a hammer kidnapped a 19-year-old man from his Andrews Farm home.

Police will allege the victim was driven to the Adelaide hills where he was assaulted and that demands for money were made before he was released at about 3am on Wednesday 26 October.

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force yesterday (Friday 28 October) arrested and charged three men with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated blackmail, assault to cause harm and breach of bail.

A 21 year-old man from Paralowie, a 23 year-old man from Salisbury Heights and a 19 year-old man from Greenwith were refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday 31 October.

The men are believed to have links to the Rebels OMCG.

The investigation is continuing and there may be further arrest.
