Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after three people died in a collision at Bolinda this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports two vehicles had collided on Bolinda-Darraweit Road about 7.20am.
Three people from one of the vehicles, who have yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The fourth occupant from that car was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
