Three people injured in dog attack in Tregear

Three people have been attacked by two dogs at Tregear this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a home on Vincennes Avenue about 1pm (Thursday 24 January 2019), following reports of a dog attack.

On arrival officers found a 40-year-old man suffering multiple bites and in cardiac arrest.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

A 30-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter were also bitten by the dogs and are also being taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

The dogs have been secured.

Investigations are being conducted by officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command.
