Three people taken to hospital after five-car crash in North Ryde

Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving five vehicles in Sydney’s north-west, NSW Police say.

Just before 6pm yesterday (Sunday 18 November 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Epping Road and Pittwater Road, North Ryde, after reports of a crash involving five vehicles, one of which had rolled as a result.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated two patients at the scene.

A 48-year-old man was taken to Ryde Hospital with minor face injuries.

A 37-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with minor injuries and for further testing.

All three will undergo mandatory blood tests while in hospital.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are urging anyone with information, or dashcam footage of the incident, to call Crime Stoppers.
