Three taken to hospital after crash in North Gosford

Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash at North Gosford this morning, NSW Police say.

The crash happened at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Dwyer Street about 6.05am tomorrow, after a Commodore and a small sedan collided.

A woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, was trapped for more than 15 minutes while officers from Fire & Rescue NSW worked to free her.

She has been treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital with suspected multiple injuries.

Two women travelling in the Commodore have also been taken to Gosford Hospital as a precaution.

Crash Investigation Unit officers are en route to the site and traffic diversions are in place.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
