Three teenagers charged over man's death - Tregear

Three teenagers will appear in court today as investigations continue into the death of a man at a home in Sydney's west overnight.

Emergency services were called to the home on Ellsworth Drive, Tregear, about 10.30pm (Saturday 10 June 2023), after a man was found unresponsive in a bedroom.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were unable to revive the 32-year-old man and officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene.

Police have been told the man had allegedly been injured during a physical altercation at the home.

Three occupants – two men, aged 18 and 19, and a 16-year-old girl - were arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

Detectives assisted by the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad established Strike Force Armine to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

The younger man has now been charged with murder while the older man and teenage girl were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).

They were all refused bail with both men to appear at Parramatta Bail Court, with the girl to appear at a children's court today (Sunday 11 June 2023).

A post mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
